Hope you are all well and keeping safe. You have all been greatly missed by myself and Mrs Woodward and it has felt strange not seeing you. It has been lovely speaking to some of our Nursery parents and finding out what the children have been up to.
On this page you will find activities and useful websites to support home learning during this difficult time for everyone. This term the focus is traditional tales so activities have been linked to this theme. Please complete these in your own time and we do understand that each child is different so do not feel pressured in completing all the activities.
Children in the Early Years need to be encouraged to play! To build dens, to sing and dance, to paint, to draw, to chalk, to play with play dough, to bake, to play outside (if possible), to play with small world figures, to build models out of construction materials or junk modelling resources - to use their imaginations and critical thinking skills - which they are all amazing at. Most importantly enjoy this time at home with your child.
Don’t forget to use tapestry to upload pictures and observations of your child doing some of the suggested activities. I will look forward to seeing the work you are doing at home. If you have any questions please contact me.
