Hello Class Reception!
We hope you are all safe and well, we are really missing you. Thank you for putting lots of your work onto Tapestry for us to see, it has been lovely to keep in touch with you.
We have put together lots of ideas for activities for you to do at home. It would be good if you could try and do one or two of them each day. Maybe you could take a picture or short video and put it onto Tapestry?
We have recorded some stories for you to listen to; these can be found on this website and on Tapestry. If you have a favourite story let us know and, if we have access to it, we will read it for you.

This may be helpful for those of you who are unsure how to approach and explain the current situation with your children:
Look out for the story of 'Superworm', by Julia Donaldson in the Story Time section of our website and on Tapestry. Here are some activities all about worms.
Our Summer Term topic is 'Animals'. This sheet gives you some ideas of activities you can do to support your child's learning.
These are some ideas for general literacy and maths activities. We have also included some information for parents/carers to let you know what the children would be working towards this term:
This is a sheet to show you what phonics sounds we would be recapping and learning this term. These will be useful when completing the literacy activities above.
These are some websites to support all areas of learning.
These are some resources and games which we would be using in class to support Literacy, Numeracy and Topic.
These are some activities and ideas all related to kindness and resilience:
There is also a lovely calendar for you to use at home:
Here is a link to the government you tube channel which uses the letters and sounds scheme for phonics that we use in school.
It has daily lessons and some clips you can watch.
